The apostle Paul reminds us to avoid “stinkin’ thinkin'” and keep our thoughts on those things that are worth thinking about. When we waste time worrying or fretting about the future, that is time we are not focused on our Savior and His awesome goodness to us. When we spend time revisiting the past (which by the way, we will never be able to change), we are also stealing joy from ourselves! We need to get rid of the phrase “if only I would have…” The fact is, I didn’t – and I can’t go back and make a different decision now.
