…yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. – 1 Corinthians 8:6
Lately I’ve heard about different gods. In this verse we are told that there is one God – the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. The Father of our Savior, Christ Jesus.
There are terrorists running around the world trying to kill everyone who does not share their belief in Sharia Law – the infidels. They hate Christians and want to kill us. They yell the name of their blood-thirsty God before they start killing – and they don’t think it’s a big deal to die and plan to be rewarded handsomely on the other side.
Isn’t it sad that they are rewarded for murder by their god – and I’m rewarded for loving others by mine? Have you ever seen the annoying bumper sticker that says COEXIST – ? Sigh… well – I can’t think of a way that Christianity and radical Islam can do that – seriously.
It’s messed up to think that it could ever happen. I’m not going to go looking for trouble, but neither do I condone letting this cancer spread until it gets bigger and bigger.
My God is just. Life may not be fair – but I’m sure that God is.Allah is not my God. My God is about love, not hate. My God is about life, not death. My God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, to die for everyone. If you believe in Him you will be saved for eternity and when you die you will go to heaven to live with Him. John 3:16.
Forgiveness, not revenge. We accept diversity, but share our faith. If any deny what we say, we accept it and walk away – but we continue praying for them. We don’t hate or kill anyone who disagrees with us. We just share – we plant seeds and pray that God will help those seeds to grow.
God is faithful and the battle is His. He has a plan for you and one for me. Be very vigilant in prayer and confident in His ability to take good care of you. We serve a mighty God who is good and strong. He knew from the beginning what was going to take place in the last days. He will walk with us every step of the way. 🙂
